In today's business world, people rarely stay in the same job at the same workplace for over 40 years. But no matter how your career develops, there is one thing you will always look back on: the foundation you started from. We will help you establish a solid foundation from which you can move on successfully, and in an industry that enables you to experience the fascination of flying firsthand – even if it is just on the ground. To this end, we offer the following training programs: Warehouse logistics expert, Forwarding agent for freight and logistics services, or Bachelor of Science in information management.
Your vocational training as a Warehouse logistics expert:
Is reliability your middle name? Good, because as a warehouse logistics expert we trust you to deliver spare parts to wherever they are needed right on time – whether a single screw or an entire engine. During your training you will learn everything you need to know, i.e. how to receive, pick, store and ship materials expertly. To make the process quicker and easier, we will also teach you how to use the required IT systems and handle aircraft materials properly.
Your apprenticeship as a Forwarding agent for freight and logistics services:
Do you have excellent organizational skills? Then this training program could be just right for you. If you enjoy planning and being in charge of transports from one place to another, then come and join us. You will be able to live out your capabilities by handling all kinds of transports, ranging from the smallest switch for a coffee machine on an Airbus 340-600 to a seven-ton jumbo engine for a Boeing 747.
Your co-op training as a Bachelor of Science in information management:
You will be trained as a Bachelor of Science degree in information managementat the NordakademieHochschule der Wirtschaft. This dual-study degree program provides a perfect combination of theory and practice, and will help you become a sought-after business and IT expert. The course focuses on computer science, internet applications, economics and information management. Your theoretical studies will be supplemented with work placements in various departments of the participating affiliated companies, which include Lufthansa Technik AG, Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services GmbH and Lufthansa Revenue Services GmbH, for example.
