The challenge

An American airline commissioned Lufthansa Technik with complete material supply for its fleet. So that this supply functioned seamlessly, the airline needed suitable solutions for on-site material provision and a connection to the maintenance software it used. 

Our solution

We have been providing support for this airline since it began flight operations in 2007. For this project, we developed a completely integrated logistics chain for the customer's entire spectrum of material, from engine warehousing to the supply of liquid consumables. To ensure supply for the current fleet of 45 aircraft, we set up 24-hour warehouse sites in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. In addition, at many customer stations there are freely accessible areas where consumables are available. The end-to-end connection of material supply to the airline's maintenance software ensures that all processes are seamless and transparent for the customer at all times.
