Taking over consumable supply for SunExpress Deutschland
Complete care for six Boeing 737-800 aircraft
As part of a Total Technical Support contract (TTS®) concluded between Lufthansa Technik AG and the newly founded SunExpress Deutschland GmbH, Lufthansa Technik Logistik (LTL) will assume responsibility for the complete routine and ad hoc provisioning of consumable and expendable materials for line maintenance of SunExpress aircraft.
In addition, Customer Support will be available to SunExpress 365 days a year, around the clock (24/7). This and LTL's network throughout Germany will ensure that non-routine material needed in the event of an AOG (aircraft on ground) situation can be provided at short notice," notes Seven Domke, who heads up Consumables Supply at Lufthansa Technik Logistik, in describing important customer benefits of the contract.
SunExpress went into business on June 8, 2011with three Boeing 737-800 aircraft at the German hubs Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart. Beginning with the winter flight plan, three additional aircraft will go into service, flying from Germanyto destinations in Turkeyand North Africa.
