Training as specialist for inventory administration

To ensure that aircrafts are always ready for takeoff, we need a perfectly functioning supply of materials worldwide for our customers' maintenance. Specialists for inventory administration ensure that urgently needed spare parts are in the right place at the right time. They organize worldwide transports by road, air or sea within specified time frames. They work independently - for the most part in shifts - using our IT system and manuals, which are often written in English. In all tasks, customer orientation and quality assurance are an essential part of the work.

Training as forwarding agent for freight and logistics services

For Specialists for Forwarding and Logistics Services at Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services, planning and commissioning worldwide transports for aircraft spare parts is part of that routine - from the smallest switch on the coffee machine in a Boeing 737 to the twelve-ton jumbo engine of a Boeing 747. You take on responsible assignments in areas such as network and transport management, purchasing and sales as well as accounting. On top, you acquire knowledge and skills in operational areas such as goods acceptance, shipping and customer service.
